        "en": "<p data-HoCid=\"1847239\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, I basically want to follow up on the question of the member for <a data-HoCid=\"128786\" href=\"/politicians/dennis-bevington/\" title=\"Dennis Bevington\">Western Arctic</a> about the Liberal Party and the Liberal leader's new-found embracement of keeping corporate taxes where they are and not lowering them any further, when in fact it was his party under the previous Liberal government that started the slide in corporate tax rates and corporate tax revenue.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1847240\" data-originallang=\"en\"> Twenty years ago or so, I believe, the amount of revenue the government was getting from individual taxpayers was about equal to the amount it was getting from corporations. Now after all this time, it has got to the point where the working people in this country are contributing four times the taxation revenue to the government that corporations are contributing in their taxes.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1847241\" data-originallang=\"en\">I applaud the Liberals for getting on side, albeit belatedly, but at least they are beginning to recognize that this is the proper position to take, given that we need revenue for social programs and health care in this country.</p>",

Maintenant, la situation en est au point o\u00f9 la contribution des travailleurs de notre pays aux recettes provenant de l'imp\u00f4t est quatre fois sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la contribution des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1847241\" data-originallang=\"en\">Je f\u00e9licite les lib\u00e9raux de se rallier \u00e0 nous, bien que tardivement, mais au moins ils commencent \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre que c'est la bonne position \u00e0 adopter, compte tenu que nous avons besoin de recettes pour financer les programmes sociaux et les services de soins de sant\u00e9 du pays. </p>"
