"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"1798663\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mr. Speaker, my colleague from <a data-HoCid=\"128177\" href=\"/politicians/luc-desnoyers/\" title=\"Luc Desnoyers\">Rivi\u00e8re-des-Mille-\u00celes</a> is so anxious to see the budget, and he has such high expectations for the budget that I hope, for his sake and for the sake of all parliamentarians, that he will not be disappointed. If the past is any indication, we know what to expect from the Conservatives. There will be nothing, zero, zip, in this budget that will satisfy the people it affects.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1798664\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Before being elected by the people of Rivi\u00e8re-des-Mille-\u00celes, my colleague was always a staunch defender of workers' rights. I thank him for that. We spoke about employment insurance, and workers who are currently in the manufacturing and forestry industries. But too often, we forget about retirees, who helped build the companies and helped them earn a profit and provide jobs. These individuals worked hard their whole lives. They saved to have access to a retirement fund, and they could lose all of their retirement income if the government does not do something. I thank my colleague for making me think of retired workers. I admit that I forgot to do so earlier.</p>",

Il n'y aura rien, z\u00e9ro, <em>nothing</em> dans ce budget, qui sera \u00e0 la satisfaction des cat\u00e9gories de citoyens qui seront touch\u00e9s.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1798664\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Avant de se faire \u00e9lire par les citoyens de Rivi\u00e8re-des-Mille-\u00celes, mon coll\u00e8gue a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 un ardent d\u00e9fenseur des droits des travailleurs. Je l'en remercie. On a parl\u00e9 de l'assurance-emploi, et des travailleurs actuels de l'industrie manufacturi\u00e8re et de l'industrie foresti\u00e8re. Par contre, trop souvent, on oublie les retrait\u00e9s, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 qui la compagnie a pu progresser, faire des profits et donner des emplois \u00e0 certains. Ces retrait\u00e9s ont pein\u00e9 dur et ont travaill\u00e9 toute leur vie. Ils ont \u00e9conomis\u00e9 pour se payer un r\u00e9gime de retraite, et ils risquent de voir leurs revenus de retraite compl\u00e8tement amput\u00e9s si ce gouvernement ne fait rien. Je remercie mon coll\u00e8gue de m'avoir fait penser aux retrait\u00e9s. Je confesse avoir oubli\u00e9 de le faire tout \u00e0 l'heure.</p>"
