"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"2219446\" data-originallang=\"en\">Madam Speaker, I wonder about the hon. member's reaction to the question from the parliamentary secretary from Mississauga\u2014Erindale who asked how one would feel if a person who assaulted a child got only the minimum 15 days.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"2219447\" data-originallang=\"en\">I would be willing to bet the parliamentary secretary my personally autographed copy of Bill <a data-HoCid=\"4751699\" href=\"/bills/40-3/C-54/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Criminal Code (sexual offences against children)\">C-54</a> that he does not even know the average sentence that has been given out to offenders who have committed offences against children. He does not even know, yet in our debate he is challenging with the question of how one feels about a 15-day sentence, without any facts or statistical data at all. That is not a good way to debate public policy.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"2219448\" data-originallang=\"en\"> How does the member feel about that?</p>",
