"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"2181043\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mr. Speaker, on Friday evening we were very sad to learn of the passing of Pat Burns, who was battling cancer for the third time. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"2181044\" data-originallang=\"fr\">His journey from police officer to hockey coach was marked by success. He led the Hull Olympiques to their first-ever President's Cup in 1986. After some time in the American Hockey League, he led the Montreal Canadiens to the Stanley Cup final in his first season as head coach, in 1988-89. He also coached the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Boston Bruins and the New Jersey Devils, with whom he won the Stanley Cup. He is the only coach to have won the Jack Adams Award for best coach of the year three times, with three different teams.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"2181045\" data-originallang=\"fr\">My Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois colleagues and I salute this courageous and fiery man, who will have an arena named after him in my riding.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"2181046\" data-originallang=\"fr\">We offer our sincerest condolences to his wife, Line, and to his children, Maureen and Jason. </p>",
