I think we could all benefit from her more active participation in future debates. Her intervention struck me as balanced and based on personal experience.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1604696\" data-originallang=\"en\">Just very briefly, I think members of all parties say that we need to expand our trade markets so that we are less reliant on the United States. We certainly hear that from our friends in the New Democratic Party. However, at the same time, we often hear from those voices advocating an expansion in trade, opposition to particular trade agreements.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1604697\" data-originallang=\"en\">I wonder if she would care to reflect on the fact that there does appear to be a consensus that we need to expand our trade markets so there is less reliance on the United States, but in order to do so, we actually need to establish better trade arrangements with particular nations, such as Colombia.</p>",
