It is important to establish a strategy that includes other kinds of energy.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1172857\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Fortunately, we in the NDP have done so recently, with the energy plan we are currently establishing in order to really create a new kind of sustainable development in Canada. We believe that a vast majority of Canadians support this new kind of development.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1172858\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I know the hon. member represents a very important community in Quebec and I also know that he is worried about the position of the Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, who wanted to follow the NDP's lead regarding Bill <a data-HoCid=\"3083641\" href=\"/bills/39-2/C-5/\" title=\"An Act respecting civil liability and compensation for damage in case of a nuclear incident\">C-5</a>, but who threw in the towel and said they would stop fighting the Conservative government, as one Bloc member just mentioned.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1172859\" data-originallang=\"fr\">The Bloc says the Conservatives and the Liberals are too strong and that it cannot do anything. We saw this with the softwood lumber agreement and we are seeing it again with air safety. Time and time again, the Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois refuses to represent Quebeckers\u2014</p>",

Nous croyons que la tr\u00e8s grande majorit\u00e9 des gens \u00e0 travers le pays appuient ce nouveau type de d\u00e9veloppement. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1172858\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Je sais que le d\u00e9put\u00e9 repr\u00e9sente une communaut\u00e9 tr\u00e8s importante au Qu\u00e9bec et je sais aussi qu'il est inquiet par la prise de position du Bloc qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, qui voulait effectivement suivre le NPD dans le dossier du projet de loi <a data-HoCid=\"3083641\" href=\"/bills/39-2/C-5/\" title=\"An Act respecting civil liability and compensation for damage in case of a nuclear incident\">C-5</a>, mais qui a baiss\u00e9 les bras et a dit qu'il ne continuerait pas \u00e0 lutter contre le gouvernement conservateur, comme un d\u00e9put\u00e9 du Bloc vient de le mentionner.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1172859\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Le Bloc dit que les conservateurs, avec les lib\u00e9raux, sont trop forts et qu'il ne peut rien faire. On a vu cela avec l'entente sur le bois d'oeuvre et on voit cela pour ce qui est de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 a\u00e9rienne. Cas apr\u00e8s cas apr\u00e8s cas, le Bloc qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois refuse de repr\u00e9senter les Qu\u00e9b\u00e9coises et les Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois...</p>"
