"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"962340\" data-originallang=\"en\">The Chair would like to take a brief moment to provide some information to the House regarding the management of private members' business.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"962341\" data-originallang=\"fr\">After a replenishment of the order of precedence, the Chair has developed the practice of reviewing the items there so that the House can be alerted to bills which, at first glance, appear to infringe on the financial initiative of the Crown. The aim of this practice is to allow members the opportunity to intervene in a timely fashion to present their views about the need for a royal recommendation.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"962342\" data-originallang=\"en\">Accordingly, following the March 3 replenishment of the order of precedence with 15 new items, I wish to inform the House that two bills give the Chair some concern as to the spending provisions they contemplate. They are: Bill <a data-HoCid=\"3155919\" href=\"/bills/39-2/C-490/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Old Age Security Act (application for supplement, retroactive payments and other amendments)\">C-490, An Act to amend the Old Age Security Act (application for supplement, retroactive payments and other amendments)</a>, standing in the name of the member for <a data-HoCid=\"78325\" href=\"/politicians/robert-carrier/\" title=\"Robert Carrier\">Alfred-Pellan</a>; and Bill <a data-HoCid=\"3073383\" href=\"/bills/39-2/C-445/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Income Tax Act (tax credit for loss of retirement income)\">C-445, An Act to amend the Income Tax Act (tax credit for loss of retirement income)</a>, standing in the name of the hon. member for <a data-HoCid=\"78421\" href=\"/politicians/andre-bellavance/\" title=\"Andr\u00e9 Bellavance\">Richmond\u2014Arthabaska</a>.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"962343\" data-originallang=\"en\">I would encourage hon. members who wish to make arguments regarding the need for a royal recommendation in the case of Bill <a data-HoCid=\"3155919\" href=\"/bills/39-2/C-490/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Old Age Security Act (application for supplement, retroactive payments and other amendments)\">C-490</a> and Bill <a data-HoCid=\"3073383\" href=\"/bills/39-2/C-445/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Income Tax Act (tax credit for loss of retirement income)\">C-445</a>, or in the case of any of the other bills now on the order of precedence, to do so at an early opportunity.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"962344\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> I thank the House for its attention.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"962345\" data-originallang=\"en\">The Chair has notice of a question of privilege from the hon. member for <a data-HoCid=\"78329\" href=\"/politicians/mark-holland/\" title=\"Mark Holland\">Ajax\u2014Pickering</a>.
