Now, on the eve of the United Nations climate change conference, the <a data-HoCid=\"128695\" href=\"/politicians/jim-prentice/\" title=\"Jim Prentice\">Minister of the Environment</a> is suggesting that the economic slowdown, which he denied a few weeks ago, could take priority over the fight against climate change.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1247531\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Would the <a data-HoCid=\"78738\" href=\"/politicians/stephen-harper/\" title=\"Stephen Harper\">Prime Minister</a> not do better to listen to the UN Secretary General, who has said that the economic crisis should not serve as an excuse for inaction in the fight against climate change?</p>",
