That was made clear yesterday</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1243074\" data-originallang=\"en\">In terms of the forestry sector, this government has been undertaking some important initiatives, including investment incentives not just in forestry but across manufacturing to help improve competitiveness and allow the transformation of these industries.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1243075\" data-originallang=\"en\">We also launched the billion dollar community development trust in collaboration with all of the provincial and territorial governments in this country with the express desire that the money be targeted toward forestry communities in particular.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1243076\" data-originallang=\"en\">We also are looking at innovative ways to encourage the development of biomass energy from forestry products.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1243077\" data-originallang=\"en\">In terms of infrastructure, the member for <a data-HoCid=\"128620\" href=\"/politicians/john-rafferty/\" title=\"John Rafferty\">Thunder Bay\u2014Rainy River</a> is relatively new to the House and I congratulate him on his election, but he will no doubt be informed by his colleagues that this government has already undertaken the largest infrastructure investments in this country in over half a century.</p>",
