"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"873168\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, the unelected, Liberal dominated Senate is doing everything in its power to delay the passage of the tackling violent crime bill.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"873169\" data-originallang=\"en\">The Liberal leader has the ability to ensure this vital legislation is passed quickly, but instead he ignores the safety of Canadian families and even ignores the advice from the Liberal Premier of Ontario. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"873170\" data-originallang=\"en\">Our government is getting tough on crime with this legislation. Bill <a data-HoCid=\"3076458\" href=\"/bills/39-2/C-2/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to other Acts\">C-2</a> would protect youth from sexual predators. It would protect our communities from dangerous offenders. It would get serious on drug-impaired drivers. It would toughen sentencing and bail for those who commit serious gun crimes.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"873171\" data-originallang=\"en\">Why is the Liberal Senate stalling? Canadians are fed up with a justice system that puts the rights of criminals ahead of the rights of law-abiding citizens. When will the Liberals stop sitting on their hands and support Bill <a data-HoCid=\"3076458\" href=\"/bills/39-2/C-2/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to other Acts\">C-2</a>?</p>",
