My colleague emphasized this by asking whether there is already legislation to protect personal information. In my view, we should look instead at protecting databanks. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"872124\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> We should definitely crack down on the crimes that are committed, but most of all we need mechanisms to protect the data of agencies and businesses. There should be stricter protection of personal information in order to reduce the crime related to it. </p>",

Il faut rendre cette protection des renseignements personnels plus stricte, de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 \u00e9liminer davantage la criminalit\u00e9 relative aux renseignements personnels.</p>"
