We learn that officials at the Department of National Defence are using the Access to Information Act to unduly extend deadlines for publishing documents that have already been evaluated, thereby denying the public's right to information.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"691701\" data-originallang=\"fr\">How can the government, which claims to be transparent and accountable, accept such behaviour from the <a data-HoCid=\"78765\" href=\"/politicians/gordon-oconnor/\" title=\"Gordon O'Connor\">Minister of National Defence</a>?</p>",
