I think that is a disgrace. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"549482\" data-originallang=\"en\">This country has an obligation to the children of Canada to create a national child care program. To put the falsehood to the member's argument that this is only provincial jurisdiction, why did the government offer tax cuts to corporations to create child care spaces? We told the government that those tax cuts would not create a single child care space and, guess what? We were right. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"549483\" data-originallang=\"en\">Our federal government has an obligation to act in the best interests of Canadian children. We need a national child care program and all the fudging by the government will not get it out of that responsibility.</p>",
