"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"24080\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mr. Speaker, I did not \u201cplant\u201d the question, but I must admit that I could not have put it any better myself.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"24081\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Several agreements between the federal government and various provincial and territorial governments permit the provinces to apply to the federal government as to the type and number of individuals they would like to receive as immigrants in their own province, depending on the desired categories.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"24082\" data-originallang=\"fr\">In future years, when the government hopefully tables a bill one day, we will have to give very serious consideration to the entire question of labour skills and needs in Canada given the role\u2014past, present and future\u2014of immigration in our country. That is evident.</p>",
