The truth is this: $100 million a year is the contribution that the government is making right through to 2010, the single largest aid contribution to a country in the world in our aid development history.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"223042\" data-originallang=\"en\">Our aid workers are doing a good job. Our military and diplomats are joining them in trying to bring stability to that region so that we can provide the kind of social and economic development we all want to see in Afghanistan, which would not exist if we pulled our troops out.</p>",
