We will support this, but my concern is that the program is so misguided that very few, if any, are actually going to receive the benefit the government is offering.</p>\n<p>I am concerned that again what we have is a posturing situation just on the eve of an election, a pitch to Canadians that is very likely going to be misdirected because the delivery mechanism is not likely to be highly successful and misses a whole range of people who actually need help. Yet it is a difficult political messaging for the opposition to explain why we are opposed to such a complicated delivery mechanism that is actually unlikely to succeed.</p>\n<p>I hope I have some time left, Mr. Speaker, because I have a really important point to--</p>",
