According to the Prime Minister's reasoning, the federal government could therefore impose its conditions as far as child care funding is concerned, since children are of national interest.</p>\n<p>Are we to take from this that the federal government would, in the name of national interest, override Quebec's jurisdiction over child care?</p>",
