        "en": "<p>Mr. Speaker, I think perhaps the vacation was a bit too long.</p>\n<p>I would like to thank the hon. member for his comments, particularly at the end of his remarks when he called upon the House to vote quickly in favour of <a href=\"/bills/579/\" class=\"related_link legislation\" title=\"An Act to amend the Criminal Code (criminal liability of organizations)\">Bill C-45</a>, which meets a need he himself described very well.</p>\n<p>I would like to ask him the following question: Since this bill is the result of repeated initiatives by opposition members, and since for many months, not to say years, the government appeared to be totally oblivious to the needs addressed by <a href=\"/bills/579/\" class=\"related_link legislation\" title=\"An Act to amend the Criminal Code (criminal liability of organizations)\">Bill C-45</a>, what can explain his slow response to a need felt not only by the workers in many industries, but also by the opposition parties?</p>",
