It is a disgraceful con job.</p>\n<p>The member for Beauharnois\u2014Salaberry also explained that there is another piece of trickery going on and that is the choice of date. We must remember the strategy used shortly before Christmas, and the impact this choice of date had on democracy.</p>\n<p>The public was not consulted. They mention 45 groups. They seem to want to flaunt the fact that 45 groups will be appearing before the committee. They think that 45 groups will do, but there is also a need for the public to be made aware of the impact of this bill.</p>",
