They accepted that it was necessary for the federal government to introduce a bill to protect the interests of consumers and individuals and their privacy.</p>\n<p>Quebec already has a bill which impacts on businesses coming under provincial jurisdiction, and this bill will not apply. It is as simple as that.</p>",
