This is the same member who recently passed a minority committee report in which he said: \"A national federally funded television broadcaster is not essential\". This is the position that he took before the standing committee on heritage.</p>\n<p>Perhaps if he could bring the same clarity of thought to the House of Commons as he did to the committee, then with the support of the Reform Party, the support of Bloc and the support of Canadians we could keep this very vital voice alive.</p>",
