"en": "<p>Just a short comment, Madam Speaker. There has indeed been much restructuring within the Canadian Forces. I wish to point out to the parliamentary secretary that in December 1994, the Auditor General and a few generals appeared before the supply and services committee-on which I sat-to talk about the awarding of certain contracts. I asked then Auditor General Peter Kasurak, who deals with national defence data, if it was conceivable that better management could save close to $1 billion. I asked him to give me a yes or no answer. He said yes.</p>\n<p>Therefore, I think that there are still improvements to be made and that is what the departments should try to do.</p>",
