One of the issues raised in the article was the conduct of the vice-chair of the board. <em>Saturday Night</em> reported that the vice-chair had ordered the raising of refugee acceptance rates and threatened the career of those who do not meet an acceptance quota.</p>\n<p>I ask the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration: Is it not true that he was aware of the manipulations by the vice-chair long ago? Why did he not do anything about it before?</p>",
