"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"7580642\" data-originallang=\"en\">Thank you, Mr. Chair.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7580643\" data-originallang=\"en\">I'd also like to thank our minister for joining the committee today on the really important study we're doing right now.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7580644\" data-originallang=\"en\">A couple of questions came up today related to some of the indigenous languages that are most at risk, because we know indigenous languages across the country very much have different statuses. Throughout this study, we've heard about the urgency of acting right now, because many of these communities have few remaining language speakers. They're doing the best they can to capture this knowledge but, in many cases, it's a race against time.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7580645\" data-originallang=\"en\">Minister, I was hoping you could speak to how the government is working with those communities\u2014I have one in my riding as well\u2014where the future of the language is very much threatened right now. How are we able to address the pace of implementation, so that we are able not only to save the languages, but to strengthen and revitalize them for future generations as well?</p>",

Tout au long de cette \u00e9tude, on a soulign\u00e9 l'urgence d'agir sans d\u00e9lai, car dans beaucoup des communaut\u00e9s autochtones il reste peu de locuteurs. Elles font de leur mieux pour pr\u00e9server ce savoir, mais c'est souvent une course contre la montre.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7580645\" data-originallang=\"en\"> Monsieur le ministre, j'aimerais que vous nous disiez comment le gouvernement travaille avec ces communaut\u00e9s \u2014 il y en a notamment une dans ma circonscription \u2014 dont l'avenir linguistique est actuellement tr\u00e8s menac\u00e9. Comment pouvons-nous mettre en oeuvre les nouvelles mesures \u00e0 un rythme qui nous permettra non seulement de sauver les langues, mais \u00e9galement de les renforcer et de les revitaliser pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures?</p>"
