        "en": "<p data-HoCid=\"4572949\" data-originallang=\"en\">Thank you very much, Chair. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4572950\" data-originallang=\"en\">I think we just need to get it on the record that the task force had a very specific mandate, and that was to look at the business model as it is now, which is to provide services in a business context on a sustainable level.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4572951\" data-originallang=\"en\">Our committee is trying to think outside the box. We've heard some great testimony, and will continue to do so. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4572952\" data-originallang=\"en\">Thank you very much for what you've had to say here today, because, as we know, the world is not standing still. Things are changing very rapidly. Certainly technical innovations are impacting services and demand as we speak. Yet, we do have an obligation to serve all Canadians on an equitable basis as much as possible.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4572953\" data-originallang=\"en\">I would like to go back to questions that both my colleagues put to the panel on the urban and rural service considerations and this idea that Canada Post represents something tangible to Canadians, and what that means with regard to\u2014and this may be thinking outside the box\u2014other services we can be providing to continue a tremendously important organization.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4572954\" data-originallang=\"en\">I'd like to start with Mr. Bennett.</p>",

Nous sommes conscients d'un monde en pleine \u00e9volution. Tout change, tr\u00e8s rapidement. Il est clair que le progr\u00e8s technique a des cons\u00e9quences sur les services, mais aussi sur la demande. En m\u00eame temps, nous avons pour obligation d'assurer dans la mesure du possible que la population canadienne a, partout, acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un m\u00eame niveau de service. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4572953\" data-originallang=\"en\">Je voudrais maintenant revenir aux questions que mes deux coll\u00e8gues ont pos\u00e9es \u00e0 nos t\u00e9moins au sujet du service postal en zone urbaine et en zone rurale, et \u00e0 l'id\u00e9e que Postes Canada repr\u00e9sente, pour l'ensemble des Canadiens, une valeur s\u00fbre et si on ne pourrait donc pas envisager de voir cette organisation, qui rev\u00eat une telle importante aux yeux des Canadiens, diversifier ses offres de services.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4572954\" data-originallang=\"en\">Ma premi\u00e8re question s'adresse \u00e0 M.
