In your response to Mr. Moore's question\u2014and I thank him for reading the mail I send to all residents in my riding\u2014you didn't quite answer the question for me. I read between the lines that you're saying the arrangement that we have here in Ontario makes it a little different in terms of who gets the money at the end of the day.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"861862\" data-originallang=\"en\">In other words, this is what I will submit to you, because I didn't make this up; I got it from the City of Ottawa finance folks. The City of Ottawa, as a result of these two buildings being sold, will have $4 million less in revenue. Why? You know why, and you might as well make it public. Instead of going directly to the City of Ottawa, some of that money goes to the City of Ottawa when they go on the private market and\u2014I think it was in the mailer I sent to Mr. Moore and others\u2014the rest goes down the 401 for education taxes. As a result, $4 million less will go to the City of Ottawa. That's the argument. That's what happens. Seeing that maybe this wasn't noted before\u2014and fair enough if it wasn't\u2014I guess my question to you is whether or not that was something you were aware of. </p>",

Je lis entre les lignes que l'entente que nous avons en Ontario est un peu diff\u00e9rente quant \u00e0 savoir qui obtient l'argent en fin de compte. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"861862\" data-originallang=\"en\">Voici ce que des responsables des finances \u00e0 la ville d'Ottawa m'ont dit; je n'invente rien. La vente des deux immeubles fera perdre 4 millions de dollars de recettes \u00e0 la ville d'Ottawa. Pourquoi? Vous connaissez la raison et vous pourriez la divulguer. Au lieu que l'argent revienne directement \u00e0 la ville d'Ottawa, apr\u00e8s la privatisation des immeubles, une partie de l'argent ira \u00e0 la ville et le reste ira \u00e0 la province pour l'\u00e9ducation. Je crois l'avoir indiqu\u00e9 dans le message postal que j'ai envoy\u00e9 \u00e0 M. Moore et \u00e0 d'autres. Ainsi, la ville d'Ottawa perd 4 millions de dollars. Voil\u00e0. C'est ce qui se passe.
