What she was essentially saying is that under Japanese law, Japan's military would be activated to respond to the PRC threat against Taiwan.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"9374475\" data-originallang=\"en\">Last week, the Philippine President made similar comments.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"9374476\" data-originallang=\"en\"> Do you see that as an embodiment or an example of clearly stating a country's position in the Indo-Pacific region as a way to ensure peace and stability in the region and to make it clear to the PRC about the high cost of any unilateral action? </p>",
