Indeed, today's meeting requires it.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6883563\" data-originallang=\"fr\">In recent months, and especially during the useless election campaign we went through this fall, the Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois insisted on the importance of maintaining certain programs for the sectors of the economy that would have the most difficulty recovering from the pandemic. One of these sectors is culture. Yet, this does not appear at all in Bill <a data-HoCid=\"11473161\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-2/\">C\u20112</a>, which we are talking about today and which we were all waiting for. There is nothing in Bill C\u20112 for self\u2011employed cultural workers. Several weeks ago, we told the government that this category of workers had to be included in the bill, or we would oppose it. We are told that the government is not able to include them. This is an answer that we find difficult to accept.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6883564\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I would have a few questions for Mr. Laperri\u00e8re from the Fondation des artistes.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6883565\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Good afternoon, Mr. Laperri\u00e8re. I'm pleased to have you with us today.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6883566\" data-originallang=\"fr\">How did the cultural industry react when it realized that there was no support for the cultural sector in Bill <a data-HoCid=\"11473161\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-2/\">C\u20112</a>.</p>",

Il y a plusieurs semaines d\u00e9j\u00e0, nous avons annonc\u00e9 au gouvernement que cette cat\u00e9gorie de travailleurs devait \u00eatre incluse dans le projet de loi, sans quoi nous allions nous y opposer. On nous dit que le gouvernement n'est pas capable de les y inclure. C'est une r\u00e9ponse que nous recevons difficilement.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6883564\" data-originallang=\"fr\">J'aimerais poser quelques questions \u00e0 M.
