Both you and the minister talked a lot about indigenous peoples.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5408085\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Do you take gender-based analysis into account when drafting such a major bill?</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5408086\" data-originallang=\"fr\">If so, what impact will this bill have on women and children? We talked a lot about indigenous peoples.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5408087\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I also have another question. I'll ask both of my questions, and then the witnesses can answer them however they want.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5408088\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Could Bill <a data-HoCid=\"9630600\" href=\"/bills/42-1/C-69/\" title=\"An Act to enact the Impact Assessment Act and the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, to amend the Navigation Protection Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts\">C-69</a> be an obstacle to the economic development of certain remote areas, for example, regions that aren't populated by indigenous peoples, given all the analyses you will conduct? In my region, there are few indigenous communities, if any. </p>",
